Ever been in a talent show? Most of us showed off our skills when we were kids at home, school or local community centers. Did you show off your piano playing? Your operatic singing range? Your master baton twirling abilities? Perhaps your break-dancing skills? Whatever your talent, now it’s your child’s turn to participate and build lifelong memories.
Our students at Henderson International School will have the opportunity to show off their skills at the Student Council Talent Show. The talent show takes place on Thursday, April 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Henderson Hall for fifth through eighth graders.
Talent shows offer the chance to showcase our students’ unique skills and interests. It’s a great way to get involved, build school spirit and school pride. The planning process allows for students to gain real-world experience, learn the steps involved in organization and execution of a project. It is also an opportunity to apply pre-existing skills in a new way, stimulating academic and social growth.
The student council engages in many activities to support our school, from service projects to teacher appreciation awards, fun contests to leadership develop programs. Henderson International School’s nontraditional curriculum encourages development through extracurricular occupations such as involvement in our actively engaged student council.
See you at the talent show!
